Moved to Santiago Hostel, Tav should be on a bus to Mendoza by now. I have the rest of the day, plus tomorrow and Saturday to go and sample Santiago's attractions, as the flight is not till 11.35pm on Saturday night. Yesterday popped in one of the interesting cafes in the Central district that have waitresses in very skimpy skirts. They seem to get their tips from talking to the suits as much as serving the coffee. Apparently there's loads of them, the centre is also very full of banks, so no shortage of office bods to chat too over coffee.
